
FireAntz add defenseman Reszka

[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] - The Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that the club has signed defenseman Marcus Reszka to a 5-game tryout.
Reszka, a 5'10'', 185-pound defenseman from Winona, Minnesota joins the FireAntz after playing four games for the Quad City Mallards of the United Hockey League (UHL). Prior to that, he played four seasons at St. Mary's University in Minnesota.
"Marcus was the captain and MVP of a very good program at St. Mary's." Head Coach John Marks said, "He is a very skilled defenseman and I look forward to great things from him."
Reszka joined the club in time to make the current road trip. The FireAntz play in Huntsville tonight and in Knoxville tomorrow night.
The FireAntz next home game is Thursday, November 16th at 7:35 pm as they play host to the Jacksonville Barracudas on "College Night", brought to you by Fayetteville State University. Following that, on November 18th the FireAntz host the first of two "Military Appreciation Nights." FireAntz bullhorns, courtesy of Julie Stamper of Keller Williams Realty, will be given away to the first 2,000 fans in attendance.
