Fire To Continue 2009 Preseason Training In Los Angeles

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (Feb. 23, 2009) - The Chicago Fire announced today that the team will continue their 2009 preseason training in Los Angeles, California before traveling to Tempe, Arizona for their final preseason match against the Los Angeles Galaxy on March 14.
The Fire will arrive in Los Angeles on Monday, March 2 and train on the grounds of Mount San Antonio College until March 11.
On March 11, the Fire will travel to Tempe, Arizona to train in advance of their final preseason match, against the Los Angeles Galaxy at Sun Devil Stadium on March 14. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. MT/8 p.m. CT. The Chicago Fire are currently training in Queretaro, Mexico and will play their second exhibition match of the trip on Tuesday, Feb. 24, against Monarcas de Morelia at 8 p.m. in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico.
The Chicago Fire begin their 12th season of play in Major League Soccer against FC Dallas at Pizza Hut Park on Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. CT. The Fire will host the New York Red Bulls for their home opener at TOYOTA PARK on Sunday, April 5 at 2 p.m. CT.
