
Fire Brings the Heat to the Taste This Week

CHICAGO, IL (July 1, 2009) - The Chicago Fire will be at the Taste of Chicago all this week through Sunday, July 5th with special appearances by Sparky, the Fire's lovable mascot, and the Chicago Fire Premier Development League (PDL) team. The Fire is located at the Taste of Chicago's Sports Pavilion each day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will have their large inflatable soccer goal set up for attendees to take a shot or spin the prize wheel for a chance to win Fire hats, keychains, and other Fire freebies.
On Sunday, July 5th, Sparky, will be at the Taste of Chicago all day, along with the Fire PDL players from Noon - 1 p.m. to hang out with fans. The PDL players will be showing off soccer skills and doing soccer drills with kids while Sparky will be there to take pictures with Fire fans of all ages.
The Sports Pavilion at the Taste of Chicago is located at the northwest corner of Columbus and Balbo streets in Chicago and is open from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. each day this week. All are invited to join in on the fun with the Fire at the Taste, a Chicago tradition.
