
Finland Releases Thomson

Kelowna Rockets defenceman, Lassi Thomson has been released from Finland's World Junior team selection camp.
The Tampere, Finland, native was one of four cuts made. Forward Aleksi Klemetti and defencemen Mikko Kokkonen and Joona Riekkinen were also released.
Thomson suited up for Finland's first pre-tournament game against Denmark as their seventh defenceman on Wednesday in Langley, B.C. He was held pointless and had two penalty minutes in the 7-0 victory.
Libor Zabrasky is still with the Czech Republic camp. They will wrap up their pre-tournament schedule tomorrow against the Americans in Langley, B.C.
