
Final Home Series Begins This Weekend

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Sox will begin a three-game series this weekend to finish off their home schedule for the 2011 baseball season. The three games will be sponsored by Pepsi, Make-a-Wish and Affiliated Foods.
Friday night will be sponsored by Pepsi Bottling Company of Amarillo. Pepsi representatives will be handing out tote bag backpacks to the first 1,000 fans entering for Friday's game. Additionally, the Sox organization will be raffling off a 40" LCD TV to help a World War II veteran visit the WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C. Game time is 7:05 pm with the gates opening at 6:05 pm.
Saturday night will be sponsored by Make-a-Wish. The Amarillo Sox players will be wearing special Make-a-Wish jerseys to be auctioned off during a silent auction with the winners announced at the end of the game, with all proceeds going to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Additionally, Make-a-Wish children will be recognized on field throughout the game. Game time is 7:05 pm with the gates opening at 6:05 pm.
Sunday night will be the final free admission night, courtesy of Affiliated Foods. All admission is free, though all tickets must be picked up at the ticket box office at the stadium. Affiliated Foods will be raffling off prizes and will feature a special guest announcer at the ballpark. The ticket box office opens at 4:05 pm, the gates open at 5:05 pm and the game begins at 6:05 pm.

Friday, Amarillo will take on Kansas City T-Bones for the opening game of a three-game set at 7:05pm with the Aqua One Pre-Game Show set to begin at 6:50pm. The game can be heard by visiting www.amarillosox.com via Ustream. Game time is tentative and is subject to blackout.
