El Paso 10, Amarillo 7
El Paso C Alberto Espinosa and 3B Martin Parra each had three RBIs to help lead the Diablos to a 10-7 victory against Amarillo. Espinosa hit an RBI double in the bottom of the second and belted a two-run home run in the third inning. Parra went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored a run. Also for the Diablos, RF Nelson Teilon went 3-for-5 with two RBIs, a run scored and a double, and CF Kory Drew batted in a run as well. El Paso relief pitcher Adam Rowe worked 1.2 innings in relief and was credited with the win. Diablos closer Reyes Dorado worked a scoreless ninth to earn the save. For the Sox, DH Lee Cruz went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in the loss.
