Final Decision Awaits

Elmira, NY- First Arena and the Elmira Jackals announced tonight that a final decision will be made by 9:00 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, January 9th) on whether or not the ice conditions are suitable for tomorrow nights contest with the Johnstown Chiefs.

Pending the outcome of the work done tonight and Friday, the Jackals will continue play on Saturday the 10th , when they host Johnstown at 7:35 p.m. The Jackals are back in action Tuesday the 13th and Wednesday the 14th when the Dayton Bombers are in town for 7:05 p.m. tilts. The Wheeling Nailers are here on Sunday the 25th at 4:05 p.m. The busy month of events ends with a weekend double header, Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st against the Trenton Devils, both games are set for 7:35 p.m. For more information log onto www.jackalshockey.com or call 734-PUCK.
