Johnstown Chiefs News Release
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs announced today that they have introduced a Family Four-Pack ticket option that will be available for each of the team's remaining 18 home games.
"Given the current situation with the economy and everyone's budget getting tighter, we wanted to give families in the area an exceptionally affordable way to enjoy Chiefs hockey," said General Manager and Vice President Bill Bredin.
The new Family Four-Packs consist of two adult tickets and two children's tickets for just $44. Any additional children's tickets can be added on for $5 per ticket. All kids 11 years old and younger qualify for the children's tickets in the Family Four-Packs. This ticket option will only be available through advance ticket purchase, not through walk-up ticket sales. Families interested in purchasing a Family Four-Pack can do so over the phone by calling the Chiefs office at 539-1799, or in person at the team office behind section 14 at the War Memorial during normal business hours.
On a separate note, the Chiefs are also announcing that as a result of the postponed game from December 27, 2008 hot dogs at the War Memorial concession stands will be sold for $1 at all of the remaining Wednesday and Sunday games. There are two Wednesday home games remaining - January 28 vs. Mississippi & March 4 vs. Wheeling - and four Sunday home games left on February 15 and 22, and March 8, 22.
"On behalf of the entire Chiefs organization, we are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience caused by the unfortunate circumstances that forced the postponement of the December 27th game. Our collective goal is to ensure that all fans have a positive Chiefs and War Memorial experience. We're grateful that along with the Cambria County War Memorial Arena we are able to make this good will gesture to our fans. We hope that our apology and offer will be accepted, and we appreciate our fans' continued support," said Bredin.
"What happened on December 27th was unfortunate and very disappointing for everyone involved. We wanted to do something for the fans that support the Chiefs and the War Memorial to show our appreciation," said War Memorial general manager Jim Vautar.
Mark your calendars! The Chiefs are back on home ice Friday, January 16th at 7:05 PM when they host the Elmira Jackals. The Chiefs will host Pittsburgh Sports Pride Night, and encourage fans to don their Steelers, Pirates, or Penguins gear for the game. The fan with the most Pittsburgh pride will take home a Pittsburgh sports prize pack!
