Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release
From November 21st to the 23rd, Coastal Moving and Storage of Northwest Florida joined forces with MANNA to hold their 3rd Annual Fill The Mayflower food drive. According to Jay Bradshaw, President of Coastal Moving and Storage and Pensacola Moving and Storage, it was a tremendous success. This food drive marked the first time his company had to bring in another truck due to the first one filled completely.
"We are speechless with the amount of donations and support the community showed MANNA during the Fill The Mayflower event," Bradshaw added.
As a part of the Pensacola Ice Flyers' ongoing effort to reach out to the community, the entire team showed up with food donations and then helped fill the Mayflower as people dropped off food they wished to donate. "It was the least we could do as a team to donate food in support of MANNA and Coastal Moving and Storage, and volunteer our time," team captain Dan Buccella replied.
The Ice Flyers will be helping out MANNA with different upcoming events to help feed the hungry people of the Pensacola area. "I really appreciate the Ice Flyers showing up on Tuesday and helping out with the event," Bradshaw said. The Ice Flyers feel it is their responsibility to help the community in whatever way they can.
The Ice Flyers would like to thank Coastal Moving and Storage and MANNA for creating avenues for which citizens can help feed those around Pensacola that truly need a meal.
