Fighting Saints to Host Country Night

DUBUQUE, Iowa - Along with media partner 97-Country (97.7 FM WGLR), the Dubuque Fighting Saints will be hosting Country Night on Friday, October 16 when the Youngstown Phantoms come to town for a 7:35 p.m. puck drop at the Mystique Community Ice Center.
Celebrating everything about country music, the whole night will center around the idea of country. The first 500 fans that enter Our House will receive a country-themed gift. Select fans can also get in touch with their inner-country music star and play "Finish the Lyrics" to country music hits of today.
The celebration will continue into the intermission. A few fans will be selected to play Hillbilly Horseshoes; played like normal horseshoes, but with toilet seats as the horseshoes.
97-Country Afternoon Drive Live's Ryan McCall will be hosting Thomas Rhett Trivia on the Saints' bench. The winner of the trivia contest will win a download card with Thomas Rhett's latest album "Tangled Up," featuring his latest number-one single, "Crash & Burn."
Victory Ford will provide a brand-new truck for the postgame Chuck-a-Puck contest. Any pucks that enter the truck through the sunroof will enter that fan in a drawing for a chance to win a lease for a vehicle during the last regular season game of the 2015-16 season.
