
Gamblers Acquire Connor Murphy and Ryan Blankemeier

(Green Bay, WI) The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) have traded forward Karch Bachman and defenseman Adam Parsells to the Chicago Steel in exchange for Connor Murphy and Ryan Blankemeier.
Committed to the University of Michigan, Murphy is in his second year in the USHL. As a member of the Steel, the Ancaster, Ontario native posted 33 points (13 goals, 20 assists) in 60 games a season ago.
Blankemeier registered 31 points (16 goals, 15 assists) in 59 games last season and was named 2014-2015 USHL Scholar-Athlete.
Both Murphy and Blankemeier competed in the Junior Club World Cup in Russia this past August helping the Steel capture the bronze medal.
The Gamblers are back at home Saturday, October 17th as they welcome the Youngstown Phantoms to the Resch Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05pm. For information on tickets and promotions visit gamblershockey.com.
