Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release
DUBUQUE, Iowa - Fans of the Fighting Saints and Iowa Hawkeyes football team will not need to choose between the two teams when the Fighting Saints host Sioux Falls and the Hawkeyes play the Oklahoma Sooners in the Insight Bowl on December 30. The start time for the Fighting Saints game at the Mystique Community Ice Center has been moved up one hour to 6:05 p.m.
The game time change will allow Hawkeye fans to see the Insight Bowl in its entirety. Kickoff against the Sooners is slated for 9:00 CST. Additionally, fans can watch the bowl game without leaving the arena. The DB&T Club, which is open to all fans after every Fighting Saints home game, will have each of its flat screen TVs tuned to the Insight Bowl, along with a full bar and party atmosphere.
The doors at the Mystique Community Ice Center will open at 5:00 p.m. to accommodate the revised start time.
The Fighting Saints will next play at home on Friday, December 16 against Lincoln, and Saturday, December 17 against Waterloo. Those two games start a stretch of six straight at home for the Fighting Saints.
