Fighting Saints Announce Conference Semifinal Schedule

DUBUQUE, Iowa - By completing a two-game sweep of Team USA in the First Round of the Clark Cup Playoffs, the Fighting Saints have advanced to the best-of-five Eastern Conference Semifinals, where they will meet the Indiana Ice. Having earned a First Round bye, the Ice will be playing their first postseason games of the year against the Fighting Saints. The winner of the series will advance to play either the Green Bay Gamblers or the Youngstown Phantoms in the Eastern Conference Finals. The series will begin in Indianapolis for Games 1 and 2 on Friday and Saturday nights. On Wednesday, April 25, the series will swing back to Dubuque for Game 3, which will start at 7:05 p.m. The puck will drop at the Mystique Community Ice Center for Game 4, if necessary, on Friday, April 27, at 7:35 p.m. Should the series go the distance, Game 5 will be played back in Indiana on Saturday, April 28. All games in Indiana will start at 6:05 p.m. CDT.
Tickets for Games 3 and 4 are on sale now at the Mystique Community Ice Center, by phone at (563) 583-6880 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and online 24 hours a day at DubuqueFightingSaints.com. Fighting Saints fans who have opted for the Pay-As-We-Play playoff ticket option can pick up their tickets for the Conference Semifinals now at the Mystique Community Ice Center.
The Fighting Saints scored 13 goals over two games to sweep Team USA in the First Round, winning 6-3 and 7-3 on Monday and Tuesday, respectively. Tyler Lundey led the Fighting Saints with four goals and two assists over the two games, scoring two of his goals shorthanded. 12 different Fighting Saints scored at least one point in the series, with 10 of them scoring multiple points.
Should the Fighting Saints advance to the Conference Finals against Green Bay, they would host Game 3 and, if necessary, Game 4. If the Fighting Saints advance to the Conference Finals and play Youngstown, Dubuque would host Games 1 and 2, and, if necessary, Game 5. Ticket information for the Fighting Saints potential Eastern Conference Finals home dates against Green Bay or Youngstown will be released at a later date.
