USHL Clark Cup Playoffs Second Round Schedule Set

Chicago, IL - The United States Hockey League today announced the second-round schedule for the USHL Clark Cup Playoffs. All four series begin this weekend and follow a best-of-five games format.
The Anderson Cup champion and top-seeded Green Bay Gamblers will host the Youngstown Phantoms who advanced to the second round after winning their first ever USHL playoff series, a 2-0 series win against Cedar Rapids. Game One of the best-of-five series starts Saturday, April 21st at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Also in the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Ice are set to meet the defending Clark Cup champions, the Dubuque Fighting Saints, beginning Friday, April 20th at the Pepsi Coliseum in Indianapolis. Dubuque moved on to the second round after defeating Team USA 2-0 in their first-round best-of-three series.
The top seed in the Western Conference, the Lincoln Stars, play host to the Fargo Force beginning Friday and Saturday at the Ice Box in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Force won their first-round series 2-0 over the Sioux City Musketeers.
After earning a bye in the first round, the Omaha Lancers host the Waterloo Black Hawks in a best-of-five matchup that starts on Friday and Saturday at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Waterloo advanced to the second round following a 2-0 series win against the Tri-City Storm.
The winners of each series in the second round will advance to the best-of-five conference finals.
