Fighting Saints Acquire Luke Robinson

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Dubuque Fighting Saints bolstered their defense, acquiring Luke Robinson. Robinson, a 6'3'', 205-pound defenseman from Dublin, California spent last season and 34 games of this season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. The Knights are a member of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

"Luke Robinson is a big, strong defender who will add depth to our back end," said General Manager Kalle Larsson. "As a person, he is a high character individual who loves to compete."

Robinson is a rugged, right-handed shot who can chip in on the scoresheet as well as play physically on the blue line. During his first season with the Knights, he totaled 16 points. Robinson scored one goal and had 15 assists during the regular season. During the playoffs, he totaled two points in nine games.

This season, through 34 games Robinson had seven points for the Knights. All the points were assists for the right-handed defenseman. Robinson will join the Fighting Saints immediately. He will join Dallas Tulik as the second player acquired by Dubuque from the NAHL this season.
