In one of the most thrilling endings in Fever history, Tamika Catchings and Tully Bevilaqua scored all of Indiana's 15 points in overtime to lead the Fever to an 80-78 win at New York. NEWS & NOTES

- Tamika Catchings was named the Eastern Conference's Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, June 10. In four games during the week, Catchings averaged 17.8 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.3 apg, 3.5 spg, 1.8 bpg and shot 41.5 percent from the field (22-53) and 91.3 percent from the free-throw line (21-23) as the Fever posted a 3-1 record on the week, marking the team's best-ever start to a season at 7-1. The award is Catchings' 10th such honor in her career. This is the first season in which the WNBA has awarded Players of the Week for each conference. Catchings' 10 Player of the Week awards ranks second in league history to Lisa Leslie of the Los Angeles Sparks, who has been named Player of the Week 14 times in her career.

- Including its 80-61 win vs. New York, June 10, the Fever has won 20 straight games in which it has held the opposition to less than 70 points. That streak extends back to the last game of the 2005 regular season. The Liberty's 61 points at Conseco Fieldhouse dropped Indiana's defensive average this season to a league-leading 67.8 ppg.

- Against New York, June 10, Tammy Sutton-Brown and Tamika Whitmore each scored 22 points and that was the 14th time in Fever history that two players scored 20+ points in the same game. It was just the second time in those 14 games that one of the players to score 20 or more points was not Tamika Catchings. Four of those 14 games have come since Tamika Whitmore joined the team in 2006 and she has been one of the two 20-point scorers in all four.

- Sutton-Brown's 22 points and team season-high 13 boards against the Liberty both tied her career-bests. Including 10-12 FG against the Liberty, Sutton-Brown leads the WNBA in field goal accuracy at 66.0 percent for the season.

- In that game against the Liberty, New York cut a 17-point, fourth-quarter lead to just 10 while Tamika Catchings took a break on the bench. However, with her back in the contest, the Fever defense held New York scoreless over the final 4:39 of the game.

- Tan White's team-high 20 points vs. Washington, June 3, included 16 in the second quarter alone. That tied for the fourth most points in a single quarter in WNBA history.

- Tamika Catchings tied WNBA records for steals in a quarter with five and steals in a half with seven in the first half vs. Houston on Wednesday, June 6. Her seven steals in the game were the most thefts by any player in the WNBA this season. In her last four games, Catchings has averaged 3.5 spg and she leads the league with a total of 22 thefts in 2007.

- Catchings has scored 20+ points four times this season, three of which have come on the road. Outside of Conseco Fieldhouse this season, Catchings has averaged 22.0 ppg and shot nearly 49 percent from the floor (.489). Meanwhile, at home Catchings has averaged 15.4 ppg and shot under 39 percent (.386) from the field.

- With her first two points this week, Tamika Catchings will reach the 3,000-point in her career and will be the 17th player in league history to do so.

- Heading into games with Seattle and Phoenix this season, the Fever is 4-0 this season, and has won seven straight games, vs. teams from the Western Conference. In all of 2006, the Fever posted a 9-5 record against the West, including a mark of 6-1 at Conseco Fieldhouse.
