WHO: Sacramento Monarchs players Scholanda Robinson and Linda Frohlich, Monarchs assistant coach Monique Ambers, 100 high school aged children
WHAT: As part of the WNBA's BE Smart - BE Fit - BE Yourself program, Sacramento Monarchs players Scholanda Robinson and Linda Frohlich, and Monarchs assistant coach Monique Ambers, will host a basketball clinic for kids at the Sacramento Salvation Army. The kids will take part in numerous basketball and physical fitness activities lead by Sacramento Monarchs players.
Off the court, the WNBA continues to position its players as positive role models for all of its fans - male and female, young and old. The WNBA's BE Smart - BE Fit - BE Yourself program supports healthy lifestyles and positive self-images. The program focuses on the positive benefits of exercise, good nutrition and a positive attitude.
