Ferguson's Walk-Off Caps 2015 Season

Collin Ferguson's 2-out walk-off home run in the tenth inning ended the Grand Junction Rockies 2015 season with a 5-4 win over the Ogden Raptors Tuesday night at Suplizio Field.

Ferguson's long ball was his ninth of the season and the Rockies second walk-off win. They finish the fourth season in franchise history 33-43 after a 20-18 first half.

The Rockies trailed 4-3 going to the bottom of the seventh inning, but tied the game when Bobby Stahel scored on an Anthony Brito sacrifice fly falling his sixth triple of the season.

Ogden scored two in the top of the seventh after the teams traded runs in the third. Faustini Oguisten singled home the game's first run, the Rockies scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the inning.

Along with the home run, Ferguson also tripled home the Rockies third inning run. Stahel had a two hit game as well.

Hunter Brothers earned the win after striking out the side in the top of the tenth inning. Lorenz Ozuna tossed 2.1 scoreless innings, stranding a couple of runners in the ninth.

Rockies pitching struck out 14 a night after punching out a season-high 15.
