Feeney Earns First Career Shutout vs. Knights

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - Darren Brady scored two goals and Harrison Feeney got his first career shutout as the Titans to shut down the Knights, 4-0.

Feeney stopped all 27 of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's shots. The Titans also outshout the Knights by a 28-27 margin.

Brady opened the scoring when he took the puck from the left point, skated into some open space in the left circle and lifted the puck over Andrei Svistunov at 12:54. It was his seventh of the season.

Then less than two minutes later, he added another goal off a faceoff. From the right point, Brady snapped a wrister that clanged off some iron and into the back of the net at the 14:33 mark of the second period.

With both Tim and Mike Gelatt in the lineup, it was inevitable that two brothers and former teammates would be on the ice together. Tim was advancing the puck from the Knights zone and had Mike poke check it away and advanced up ice. Svistunov made the initial save, but Mike was able to put in the ensuing rebound.

Joe Shuler added his sixth of the season on an empty netter to seal the victory for the Titans.

The two teams will finish the three-game weekend, Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Middletown Ice World.
