Tri-City Storm News Release
KEARNEY - Nebraska's Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced that the starting time for the game between the Tri-City Storm and the Des Moines Buccaneers on February 28th, 2009, has been changed. The puck will drop at 3:05 in the afternoon instead of the scheduled 7:05 time. All tickets that have been purchased will be honored for the new game time.
The starting time has been changed to accommodate a special promotion for the Girl Scouts of America. Last year over 600 Girl Scouts and family members attended the first annual Girl Scout day with the Storm. This year, nearly 800 Girl Scouts and their family members are expected to travel to Kearney from throughout central Nebraska to attend. All Girl Scouts who have yet to sign up can contact the Girl Scout office in Grand Island at (308) 382-2020
