FC Tulsa News Release
TAMPA - The USL Championship released its linear schedule for national television 'Game of the Week' matches in the 2020 season, and FC Tulsa is featured in one of the 19 matches, as the road team for its in-state rivalry with OKC Energy FC in Oklahoma City on May 12. The match will air at 7 p.m. CT to the nation on ESPN Deportes and will be FC Tulsa's first-ever match broadcast on national television.
"The opportunity to play on national television for the first time in our club's history is one that we don't take lightly," said FC Tulsa president James Cannon. "To be able to showcase the new direction and look of our club to the country, especially to the audience on ESPN Deportes in one of our biggest rivalry matches of the year, is really cool. We hope to have plenty of fans make the trip to Oklahoma City to support FC Tulsa and create an incredible atmosphere on the road for our players."
FC Tulsa's matchup against OKC on May 12 is the third match announced by the league so far in Tulsa's 2020 schedule. It was announced on Monday that Tulsa would open up on the road at Sacramento Republic FC on March 7 before heading home for its season opener on March 14 against New Mexico United. The full schedule is yet to be announced.
Season tickets to FC Tulsa's historic 2020 home campaign that will kick off against New Mexico United on March 14 at ONEOK Field are now available with fan-friendly pricing starting at just $8 a match. More information is available at FCTulsa.com/tickets.
