RENO, Nev. - Reno 1868 FC's ESPN Game of the Week will come on May 5, the USL and ESPN announced today. The road matchup with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC comes on a Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. PT.
Reno leads the all-time series with Colorado Springs 2-1-3, winning both contests with the Colorado club in 2019. Before 2019, Reno had drawn both previous games at Colorado Springs. The 2019 wins came with clean sheets by Matt Bersano (4/13) and JT Marcinkowski (7/27), as Reno posted 2-0 and 4-0 wins.
Today's announcement comes after Reno's first two games of 2020 were announced on Monday. 1868 FC's 2020 schedule now stands as follows:
March 7 @ Tacoma Defiance
March 14 v OKC Energy FC
May 5 @ Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC
