CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati will conclude their two-match road trip at New York City FC on Thursday, June 6. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium in New York, N.Y., and will be televised locally on WSTR Star64, streamed regionally on FloFC, out-of-region on ESPN+ and carried on the radio on WDJO, while an audio stream will be available on the TuneIn app and fccincinnati.com.

Thursday's match will be FC Cincinnati's first-ever match against New York City FC. The two sides are slated to meet once more at Nippert Stadium on August 17.

FC Cincinnati (3-10-2, 11 pts.) enter the week after falling to the Colorado Rapids, 3-1, on Saturday evening. Kekuta Manneh registered his second goal of the season, while Justin Hoyte became the third player to wear the captain's armband this season. New York City FC (4-1-8, 20 pts.) played Columbus Crew SC to a 2-2 draw on Saturday evening and are now unbeaten in their last nine matches with a mark of 4-0-5 since April 6.

On Thursday, May 30, FC Cincinnati learned that they will host Louisville City FC in the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup fourth round, which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12at Nippert Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. A presale is currently ongoing for FCC Season Ticket Members and tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, with special "throw-back" pricing to 2018 levels in honor of the USL opponent.

Manneh Records Second Tally of 2019

Kekuta Manneh registered his second goal of the season in the 72nd minute against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday evening ... Manneh became FC Cincinnati's third multi-goal scorer of 2019, joining Allan Cruz and Darren Mattocks ... the winger is two tallies away from reaching 30 goals in his MLS career.

FCC to Play Louisville City FC in U.S. Open Cup

FCC will host USL Championship club Louisville City FC at Nippert Stadium in the fourth round of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12 ... this is the first year that FC Cincinnati will begin play in the U.S. Open Cup in the competition's fourth round ... in the club's first three seasons as a USL Championship team, the Orange and Blue began play in the tournament's second round ... the winner of the June 12 fourth-round match will advance to the Round of 16 ... U.S. Soccer will conduct the draw for the Round of 16 and Quarterfinal match-ups on Thursday, June 13.

Hoyte Wears Armband for First Time

Justin Hoyte served as FC Cincinnati's captain for the first time this season in FCC's match against the Colorado Rapids on June 1 ... Hoyte is the third player to captain the Orange and Blue this season along with Kendall Waston and Greg Garza ... the defender has been a consistent presence in FC Cincinnati's lineup as of late, having started seven of the club's last nine matches, including each of the last five.

Lamah Reaches Appearance Milestone

Roland Lamah made his 75th MLS appearance Saturday night ... the winger has regularly featured for the Orange and Blue this season, appearing in all but one of FCC's 15 matches ... Darren Mattocks and Nick Hagglund are the next FC Cincinnati players slated to hit major milestones ... Hagglund will make his 100th MLS appearance the next time he enters a match, while Mattocks will make his 175th MLS appearance the next time he takes the pitch.

Bone Returns to the Pitch

Corben Bone made his first appearance in more than two months when he replaced Frankie Amaya in the 60th minute of FCC's match against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday evening ... prior to Saturday's match, the midfielder had made two appearances this season .... Bone started FC Cincinnati's inaugural match at Seattle on March 2 and entered the match at New England on March 24 as a late substitute.

Gerard Nijkamp Named FCC General Manager

On May 30, FC Cincinnati announced the appointment of Dutch football executive Gerard Nijkamp as General Manager to oversee all aspects of the club's sporting activities ... Nijkamp, 49, comes to Cincinnati from the Netherlands and Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle, where he served as the club's technical director since 2012 ... at FC Cincinnati, Nijkamp will direct all soccer-related areas, including: roster management; roster budget and salary cap administration; player acquisition and scouting; overseeing the first-team coaching staff, sports performance and medical staffs; and the youth development programs ... he will spend the next two months splitting time between the Netherlands and Cincinnati, and is expected to relocate to the Queen City full-time by Aug. 1.

FC Cincinnati returns to the field on Thursday, June 6, when the team travels to face New York City FC at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx, New York. FCC returns to Nippert Stadium on Wednesday, June 12, when the team hosts USL Championship side Louisville City FC in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be streamed nationally on ESPN+. Tickets are specially priced to the club's 2018 pricing levels as a throw-back with a USL opponent coming back to Cincinnati.
