CINCINNATI - For a second consecutive week, FC Cincinnati will play matches against Chicago Fire FC and Columbus Crew SC. First, FCC will play a mid-week home match against Chicago Fire FC at Nippert Stadium this Wednesday. Following Wednesday's match, the Orange and Blue will take on in-state rivals Columbus Crew SC in another edition of the #HellisReal Derby at MAPFRE Stadium on Sunday.

FC Cincinnati (2-4-2, 8 pts.) enter the week following a scoreless draw against Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, Aug. 29. Goalkeeper Przemysław Tytoń made three saves en route to an MLS-best fourth shutout.

Chicago Fire FC (2-5-1, 4 pts.) open the week after falling to New York City FC (3-5-0, 9 pts.), 3-1, at Red Bull Arena on Saturday, Aug. 29. Mauricio Pineda scored his first MLS regular-season goal, but the home side prevailed in the match. Columbus Crew SC (5-1-2, 17 pts.) kick off the week after playing FCC to a scoreless draw. Eloy Room returned to net and posted his fourth shutout in five starts.

For the fourth time in their last five MLS regular-season matches, FC Cincinnati held the opposing side without a goal ... FCC played Crew SC to a scoreless draw at Nippert Stadium

Titi tied atop MLS goalkeeping leaders

Przemysław Tytoń has been a key for FC Cincinnati's recent results of late ... the FCC goalkeeper has now recorded four shutouts in his last five MLS regular-season matches ... Tytoń is currently tied with Crew SC's Eloy Room and Toronto FC's Quentin Westberg for most shutouts among all MLS goalkeepers ... with four shutouts in 2020, Tyton has already surpassed the mark he set in 2019 in nine fewer matches

Van der Werff earns MOTM in return to Starting XI

Defender Maikel van der Werff returned to the FC Cincinnati starting lineup for the first time since the second group-stage match of the MLS is Back Tournament against Atlanta United FC on July 16 ... van der Werff completed 32-of-34 passes for a 94.1% passing accuracy, recorded four interceptions and registered four clearances ... the center back made a substitute appearance for the first time as an FC Cincinnati player when he replaced Tom Pettersson at Chicago on Aug. 25
