
FC Cincinnati Exercise Offseason Buyout on Fanendo Adi

FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati have exercised their one offseason Buyout of a Guaranteed Contract on Fanendo Adi and the forward will no longer occupy a Designated Player spot or count against the 2020 salary budget, the club announced today. As a result of this move, FC Cincinnati have two available Designated Player roster spots for the 2020 MLS season.

Adi, 29, joined FC Cincinnati in the summer of 2018, when the club competed in the USL Championship. The forward made 12 MLS regular-season appearances, including seven starts, scoring one goal for the Orange and Blue in 2019.
