Father's Day BBQ & Catch on Field June 19

(Central Islip, N.Y.) - The three-time Atlantic League champion Long Island Ducks will be celebrating Father's Day at Bethpage Ballpark on Sunday, June 19 when they host the Lancaster Barnstormers at 1:35 p.m. The day will feature an opportunity to enjoy an all-you-can-eat pre-game barbecue and have a catch on the field prior to game time, in addition to normal pre-game autograph and postgame Kids Run the Bases activities.
Prior to the game, the Ducks host a Father's Day Barbecue in the Picnic Area at Bethpage Ballpark. Fans will be able to enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, ribs, roasted corn, tossed salad, Pepsi beverages, cookies, potato chips, snacks, watermelon, potato, and macaroni salad. The picnic will begin two hours before first pitch at 11:35 a.m. and will last through the start of the game. Fans can purchase a package right now that includes access to the Father's Day Barbecue and a ticket to the game for just $30 ($20 upgrade for season ticket and 10-game mini plan holders).
A second package is also available that includes the Father's Day Barbecue, a ticket to the game, and the opportunity for one (1) father and one (1) guest to take the field at Bethpage Ballpark for a pre-game catch. This unique experience will last for 15 minutes from 12:00 to 12:15 p.m., and the pair will receive a Ducks logo baseball to use for their catch and keep as a souvenir. Participants should bring their own gloves for the catch. Fans can purchase this package for just $40 ($30 upgrade for season ticket and 10-game mini plan holders). Pre-game catch packages are available on a first come, first serve basis, and availability is limited. Finally, all fans in attendance will be able to enjoy the exciting activities taking place as part of the weekly Sunday Family Funday promotion. Everyone is invited onto the field for a pre-game autograph session with the Ducks from 12:50 to 1:05 p.m. Following the game, kids and kids at heart can take part in Kids Run the Bases, presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
