Faragher Recalled from Utah; Pelech Released

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled goalie Ryan Faragher from Utah, San Diego's ECHL affiliate. Additionally, center Michael Pelech has been released from his professional try out (PTO).

Faragher, 25 (7/3/90), has appeared in four games with San Diego this season, posting a 1-3-0 record with a 3.37 goals-against average (GAA) and a .895 save percentage (SV%). A native of Fort Frances, ON, Faragher has appeared in 31 games with Utah this season, posting a 20-9-1-1 record with two shutouts, a 2.22 GAA and a .922 SV%.

Pelech, 26 (10/6/89), appeared in one game with San Diego, going scoreless on three shots with two penalty minutes (PIM) on Feb. 13 at Charlotte. The 6-3, 220-pound forward ranks tied for second among Norfolk (ECHL) point leaders with 8-22=30 points in 49 games.
