
Fans Encouraged to Plan Ahead for Gold Cup Matches Tomorrow

RENTON, WASH. - Fans attending Gold Cup matches at CenturyLink Field tomorrow are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive well in advance of kickoff to ensure smooth access into the stadium and avoid any possible traffic congestion. The doubleheader features Panama versus Martinique at 5:30 p.m. PT immediately followed by Mexico versus Canada at 8 p.m. PT. Gates open at 4 p.m.
Handheld metal detectors will be utilized at all gates. Fans will be asked to remove all metal from their pockets and hold the items in their hands as the screening is conducted, including coins, keys and cell phones.
Tickets for the Gold Cup Group A matches are available through Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster by phone (800-745-3000) and the CenturyLink Field Box Office. One ticket will be good for both matches.
The Gold Cup, previously hosted in Seattle in its 2005 and 2009 editions, is a 12-team competition held every two years that serves as North America's top international competition. The United States, Canada and Mexico qualified automatically, and will be joined by Cuba, Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti and Martinique from the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Honduras, Belize, El Salvador and Panama from Central America.
