
Fan Fest Is Tomorrow

The Flint Firebirds Hockey Club, presented by Perani's Hockey World, is holding their fourth annual "Firebirds Fan Fest" Open House tomorrow/Wednesday, September 12th at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
The 'Firebirds Fan Fest' is a family-friendly event that gives members of the community and local businesses the chance to select their actual seats for the upcoming season and meet and greet Firebirds' players, coaches and staff. Current season ticket holders may pick up their season ticket books for the 2018-19 campaign during this exciting event.
Parking and admission is free for all fans. There will be free food and drinks, a 'chalk talk' session with Head Coach Ryan Oulahen as well as fun activities offered including tours of the Firebirds' NHL-style locker room, a dunk tank for fans to dunk the Firebirds, an autograph station with the players, gaming stations set up for fans to play as the Firebirds in the EA Sports NHL '18 video game and a variety of bounce houses for the kids. Face painting and puck shooting stations will also be available. Event sponsors include The Dunk Tank Company, Modern Ink Body Art and Play 1st Mobile Gaming.
Last season, Firebirds' fans watched more than 100 NHL drafted or signed players appear at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center. Season tickets start as low as $11 per game and parking is FREE to all Firebirds' season ticket holders. The Firebirds 'Opening Night' is at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29th against the London Knights.
About The Flint Firebirds: The Flint Firebirds are a proud member of the prestigious Ontario Hockey League. The OHL is known as the world's premiere player development league for the NHL. Since the Firebirds inception three seasons ago, the team has produced 15 NHL signed or drafted players. The Firebirds average nearly 3,000 fans per game at the newly renovated Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center, reaching over 100,000 fans each OHL season.
