Fan Appreciation Day to Salute Luc Bourdon

Moncton Wildcats News Release
Moncton, NB - As part of it's annual Fan Appreciation Day, the Moncton Wildcats will salute the memory of former alumni Luc Bourdon prior to their game March 15th at 2 p.m.
Luc's mother, Suzanne Boucher, has confirmed her participation. Bourdon tragically lost his life last May in a motorcycle accident near his hometown of Shippagan. The presentation will also involve other alumni members of the Moncton Wildcats.
It is fitting the Wildcats honor Luc at the March 15th game, since the Screaming Eagles will be the opposition. In 2007 the Moncton Wildcats traded Bourdon to Cape Breton for a first round draft pick in 2007 and defenseman Mark Barberio.
The Wildcats will also recognize the 20-year old players. Matt Eagles a Wildcat since 2005, Zach Sill a Wildcat since 2007 and Tomy Joly, a Wildcat since January, will all play their last regular season QMJHL game on March 15th.
Other details regarding Fan Appreciation Day will be announced shortly.
