The Springfield Falcons kick off a four-game week when they head to Manchester to battle the Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. Springfield leads the Bridgeport Sound Tigers by six points with three games in hand for first place in the Northeast Division, and returns to the ice for the first time since defeating the Providence Bruins on Saturday, 4-2, in front of a season-high crowd of 6,497 fans at the MassMutual Center. The Falcons, who are winless in three midweek games this season, beat the Monarchs in a shootout, 3-2, in the most recent meeting on Dec. 16. Springfield and Manchester each have a 2-1-0-1 records against each other in 2012-2013, with the road team registering victories in all four games.
Tonight's broadcast is presented by FalconsWireless.com and begins at 6:58 p.m. on WHYN 560 AM, WHYN.com, the iHeartRadio App, and AHLLive.com.
The Falcons return home to host the Connecticut Whale on Friday and the Albany Devils on Saturday at the MassMutual Center.

"JAM" RISES TOWARD THE TOP
Jonathan Audy-Marchessault has seven points in the last three games (4g-3a) and is now tied for fourth in the AHL in scoring with 37 points. He will equal Cam Atkinson for the club lead in that category with a goal or an assist tonight. Audy-Marchessault leads Springfield with 24 assists, putting the second-year pro into a tie for sixth in the AHL. His second-period goal on Saturday proved to be his first game winner of 2012-2013. The Quebec City native is tied for fifth in the AHL at +15.
DRAZENOVIC DOES IT ALL
In addition to matching Cam Atkinson's outing on Nov. 11 versus Norfolk and the 2012-2013 AHL single-game mark, Nick Drazenovic set a career high with four assists on Saturday. His four points equaled his career best, tying his one goal, three assist contest with Peoria against Lake Erie on Oct. 30, 2009. Drazenovic is third on the Falcons with 30 points and is tied for third with 20 assists.
CRAIG HITS THE HALF-CENTURY MARK
Ryan Craig garnered his 50th goal in a Springfield sweater on Saturday night, breaking a tie with Cam Atkinson and moving into sole possession of ninth place in Falcons history. He leads the Falcons with seven power-play goals.
FULL POWER
Springfield has power-play goals in seven-straight contests and is eighth in the league in that category at 19.6%.
COOL, CALM, AND 'KILL'ECTED
The Falcons were perfect on all six shorthanded situations on Saturday and are tied for fourth in the league on the penalty kill with the Charlotte Checkers at 85.7%. Springfield is one of just two teams, along with Charlotte, to have a top 10 power play and penalty kill.
OBEYING THE LAW
Springfield is the only team without a 10-minute misconduct and is one of four clubs without a game misconduct. The 42 penalty minutes by Ryan Craig and Dalton Prout is the lowest total of any AHL team leader in that category.
