
Wolves Sign Trent Daavettila to PTO

The Chicago Wolves have signed forward TRENT DAAVETTILA to a Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).
DAAVETTILA ranks second on the team with 25 assists and fourth with 38 points in 39 ECHL games with the Colorado Eagles this season. His 13 goals are tied for fourth on the squad.
The 28-year-old forward spent the majority of the 2011-12 campaign with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings, where he paced the club with 56 assists and 74 points in 69 outings. He also skated in two American Hockey League games with the St. John's IceCaps.
The Howell, Mich., native has appeared in 18 career AHL contests with Adirondack (2009-10), Grand Rapids (2009-11), and St. John's (2011-12), collecting 3 points (G, 2A) and 4 penalty minutes. He also has amassed 82 goals, 159 assists, and 241 points in 230 ECHL games with Kalamazoo and Colorado spanning four seasons (2009-present).
The Wolves open a three-game homestand at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, when they host the Texas Stars at the Allstate Arena.
