Fresno Falcons News Release
Fresno, Calif. - Fresno Falcons fans will have two opportunities to meet Falcons players beginning tomorrow, when the players appear at Grizzlies Stadium and Saturday, August 5 at the 1,000 Youth Skate for Change taking place at Woodward Park.
On Thursday, August 3, 2006 the Falcons will be hosting Season Ticket Holder as well as "Rally Around Diabetes" at the Fresno Grizzlies game. All valley diabetics are invited to attend. Tickets are only $5 and may be purchased in advance by contacting the Falcons front office at (559) 485-PUCK (7825) or at the Grizzlies Ticket Office. Falcons players Cory Murphy and Matt O'Dette as well as Coach Matt Thomas will be on hand to sign autographs at the Falcons table from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Then on Saturday, August 3, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. Captain Matt O'Dette, and Coach Matt Thomas will be at Clovis West High School to take part in the 1,000 Youth Skate for Change. The skate will depart Clovis West at 10:30 a.m. as participants head to Woodward Park for lunch, entertainment, and games. O'Dette and Thomas will be available for autographs between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at Woodward Park.
The Falcons open defense of their Pacific Division title on Friday, October 20, when they host the Las Vegas Wranglers at the Save Mart Center.
