STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder has announced a Mini-Plan Party will be held at Valley Brew Family Restaurant in Stockton, at 157 W. Adams Street on Saturday, August 5.
The event, lasting from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PT and free to the general public, will feature special appearances by Thunder head coach Chris Cichocki, mascot "Thor," and the first chance for fans to purchase three new packaged plans (listed below) for select games at Stockton Arena before individual game tickets go on-sale.

A new addition to the mini-plan package for the 2006-07 season, the "12 Pack" package presents games spread throughout the whole season, including the highly-demanded Opening Night game on Saturday, October 28th versus the Long Beach Ice Dogs. Plans begin at only $135 with a free Thunder Cap ($20 Value) included with purchase.
An added plan available will be the "Game of the Month" package, which offers the best promotional giveaways for six games of the season, beginning at only $65. In addition, fans that choose this plan will have admission to Opening Night and Fan Appreciation Night, the final 2006-07 regular season home game.
The final of three mini-plans available will be the "Saturday Night Special," which is a package consisting of six highly-demanded Saturday night games. These are select games offered with a first-come, first-served basis on the most premium seats in the arena, which begin at only $65.
Thunder mini-plan holders enjoy saving money compared to the game-day walk-up price, affordability, a same-seat guarantee, priority seat selection, first right-of-refusal to purchase Kelly Cup Playoff tickets, a free subscription to the Thunder e-newsletter, and more.

An ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage, the Thunder drew 228,364 fans to Stockton Arena in its inaugural season, the ECHL's best attendance mark for 2005-06.
