Falcons add preseason game

Springfield, MA â The Springfield Falcons announced today that they have added a preseason game to their 2002-03 schedule. The Falcons will host the Manchester Monarchs on Monday, September 30th at the Springfield Civic Center. Game time will be 6:00 PM and all tickets will be $5.00 for both adults and juniors.
Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon stated, "Adding another preseason game will give us a better opportunity to evaluate all the players we will have in training camp. We also wanted to have a special discount ticket rate to allow our fans to come watch the new Springfield Falcons at a very affordable price."
The Springfield Falcons will now play a total of four preseason games. The Falcons will travel to the University of Rhode Island to take on the Providence Bruins on Wednesday, October 2nd. Springfield will then host Hartford on Friday, October 4th and Providence on Saturday, October 5th at the Springfield Civic Center. Game time will be 7:35 PM and tickets will be $9.00 for adults and juniors for the two games at the Springfield Civic Center on October 4th and 5th .
Tickets for all preseason games are currently on sale at the Springfield Civic Center Box Office. Single game tickets for the 2002-2003 regular season went on sale Monday, September 23rd, at 9:00 am. Tickets for the Falcons upcoming season are available at the Springfield Civic Center Box Office or at any Ticket Master location. Ticket prices for the upcoming season are as follows: $14.00 for adults, junior tickets (18 and under) priced at $9.00, and senior citizen tickets (62 and over) priced at $11.50.
Tickets may be purchased over the phone by calling the Civic Center Box Office at 413-787-6600 or toll free at 1-800-639-8602. The Falcons will have their regular season home opener on Friday, October 11th against the Hartford Wolf Pack and group tickets for that game can be ordered by calling the Falcons Front Office at 413-739-3344.
Flex Pack and Season Ticket holders can pick up their Flex Pack coupon books and tickets immediately at the Falcons Front Office.
