Fairbanks, AK. 10.29.08. Ricky Bertz, General Manager for the Fairbanks Grizzlies, announced the re-signing of Mike Quinn for the 2009 season. Mike, a 2000 graduate of West Valley High School, played a pivotal role for the Grizzlies during their 2008 inaugural season, playing on offense, defense and special teams. Mike was a local fan favorite for his "Iron Man" like multi-position flex ability that he brought to the team on every game night.
During the 2008 season, Mike compiled the following offensive statistics: (2) receptions, (15) receiving yards, (1) receiving touchdown. For defensive statistics: (18) tackles, (2) sacks, (2) fumble recoveries, and (1) forced fumble.
