Fairbanks, AK. 10.29.08. Ricky Bertz, General Manager for the Fairbanks Grizzlies, announced the re-signing of Kenny Wilson for the 2009 season. Kenny played both offense and defense for the Grizzlies during their 2008 inaugural season. Kenny, a former Lathrop High School football player and 2005 graduate, is a fan favorite at the Grizzly games, throwing his touchdown reception footballs into the crowd and celebrating with the fans.
During the 2008 season, Kenny compiled the following offensive statistics: (35) receptions, (351) receiving yards, and (5) receiving touchdowns. For defensive statistics, (8) tackles and (1) sack.
