Bloomington Extreme News Release
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Bloomington Extreme indoor football coach Ted Schmitz announced the signing of offensive lineman Colin Christopher on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-2, 320-pound Christopher, who played at Indiana University, was with the Extreme last year. He started this season with Fort Wayne in the af2 before being released. He began his professional career with the Grand Rapids Rampage.
"Colin started as a defensive lineman with us last year and eventually ended up starting on offense," said Schmitz. "He probably grading out as well as anybody we had on the line. Because he is a two-way player, he should shore up both lines."
The Extreme returns to action Saturday when it plays RiverCity in a 7:05 p.m. United Indoor Football game at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The first 3,000 fans will receive Extreme t-shirts, compliments of ServPro.
Tickets for all Bloomington Extreme games are on sale at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office. Tickets also may be purchased by calling 309-434-2679; 866-891-9992 or going to the team web site at www.bloomingtonextreme.com or www.uscellularcoliseum.com.
Tickets per game are priced at $10 (upper end zone); $12 (end zone); $18 (sideline); $25 (club - section 101 only); $30 (premium). The U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office is located at 101 S. Madison Street, Bloomington.
