
UIF Announces Week Three Players of the Week

Omaha, NE - United Indoor Football is pleased to announce that Kewan Dewberry, Ellery Moore, and Richard Johnson have been named the three Players of the Week for Week Three. Dewberry of the Lexington Horsemen led his team to a victory over the Evansville BlueCats to receive Offensive Player of the Week. Moore was voted as the Defensive Player of the Week for his play against the BlueCats, and Johnson has been named Special Teams Players of the Week for his play against the Lexington Horsemen.
Kewan Dewberry (LEX) completed 14-21 passes for 288 yards and six touchdowns. He also had one rushing touchdown and no interceptions, as the Horsemen beat the Evansville BlueCats 70-20. In week four, the Horsemen will host the Ohio Valley Greyhounds (1-2).
Ellery Moore (LEX) had 8.5 tackles, one forced fumble, one pass breakup, and two blocks, against the Evansville BlueCats.
Richard Johnson (EVA) had two kickoff returns for 62 yards including a 57-yard return for a touchdown. Evansville will play Rock River (1-1) this Saturday in Rockford, IL.
Receiving Week 3 Honorable Mentions are: Offense, Steve LaFalce (BLO); Defense, Terrell Washington (RIV); and Special Teams, Quince Holman (BLO).
