
Raptors Cancel Tailgate, Announce Alternatives

ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rock River Raptors of United Indoor Football (UIF) announced today that due to the weather forecast and current ground conditions, their tailgate party, Raptor Park, has been cancelled for April 14. Plans are still in the works for tailgating at the remaining home games .
The Raptors invite you to join in the fun at Swilligan's Pub (200 N. Church St., Rockford, Ill. 61101), Kryptonite (308 W. State St., Rockford, Ill. 61101) and King's Table, II (308 W. State St., Rockford, Ill. 61101), all of which will be offering special deals that evening.
Swilligan's will offer a Budweiser special that night, as will Kryptonite who will have $2.50 Budweiser longnecks. The King's Table will be the home of the Raptors pre-game meal. Starting at 5pm fans will be able to eat dinner with players who are inactive for that night's game. This week they will be serving chicken fingers with assorted dipping sauces. The cost is $5.95 for adults and $2.50 for kids.
