The Astros (8-7) are currently in a 2nd place tie with the Cincinnati Reds in the National League Central Division.

CORPUS CHRISTI HOOKS UPDATE:
The Hooks are currently in 3rd place in the Double-A Texas League West Division with a 5-9 record. They trail the Midland Rockhounds (10-4) by five games. The Hooks had a successful home opener on April 17th other than losing the ball game 6-2 to Midland. 8,255 fans enjoyed the first-ever game at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi.
Speedy CF Josh Anderson is leading the Hooks in hitting with a .304 average (17-for-56). He also has 10 stolen bases which tie him with Frisco's Ruddy Yan for tops in the Texas League.
The Hooks have the second best team ERA in the Texas League with a 2.97 ERA. Leading the way are Jason Hirsch (2-0, 1.45 ERA, 18.2 IP), Fernando Nieve (1-0, 1.06 ERA, 17 IP, 4 BB, 23 SO) and Tim McClaskey (0-1, 1.38 ERA, 13 IP, 2 BB, 10 SO).
