ROUND ROCK - The Express (15-17) won its second series of the year Monday with a dramatic walk-off win against Oklahoma City (11-18), 6-5.

With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, and both teams deadlocked at 5-5, John Gall hit a grounder to the diving German Duran at shortstop. Duran fired home for the force out, but his throw pulled catcher Kevin Richardson off the plate, allowing Brian Bogusevic to score the winning run. The hit extended Gall's home-hitting streak to a league-best 20 consecutive games.

The win overshadowed another rehab start for the RedHawks by Josh Hamilton. Hamilton went 1-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two walks (one of which was intentional).

Round Rock got off to a good start in the second inning when Mark Saccomanno doubled to right-center field. Yordany Ramirez followed with a single up the middle, and Humberto Quintero was hit by a pitch, loading the bases with nobody out. Edwin Maysonet then singled to bring home both Saccomanno and Ramirez to make it 2-0.

Oklahoma City answered in the fourth inning when Hamilton doubled down the right field line to lead off the frame. Brandon Boggs followed with a single to right-center field, and Max Ramirez flew out to right field, allowing Hamilton to tag up to third base. Royce Huffmann then singled through the hole at shortstop, plating Hamilton and putting runners at first and third. Jose Vallejo bunt singled to load the bases, and Duran singled to scored Boggs from third, tying the game 2-2.

The RedHawks poured it on in the seventh inning when Julio Borbon tripled through the hole at second base to lead off the frame. German singled to center to score Borbon, and Hamilton struck out swinging. German then stole second, Boggs singled to right field, and Ramirez walked to load the bases. Huffmann struck out swinging, but Vallejo singled to left-center field, scoring both German and Boggs for a 5-2.

But Round Rock wasn't done scoring, either.

With one out, Maysonet singled to third base, Chad Spann singled through the hole at shortstop, but Eli Iorg flew out to third base. Reggie Abercrombie came through with two outs for the Express, singling up the middle to score Maysonet and move Spann to third. Tommy Manzella followed with another single to score Spann and make it 5-4, Oklahoma City.

In the bottom of the eighth, Yordany Ramirez came through for the Express yet again, roping a solo home run onto the left field berm on a 1-1 pitch to tie the game 5-5.

Ramirez, Maysonet and Iorg all had two hits for the Express, and Iorg's double in the bottom of the ninth started the rally for Round Rock.

Round Rock heads to the west coast Tuesday, starting an eight-game road trip in Fresno with a 9:05 p.m. first pitch. Round Rock RHP Jeremy Johnson will take the mound against Fresno RHP Kevin Pucetas.
