ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express announced today that INF Greg Miclat has been transferred to Double-A Frisco RoughRiders. Additionally, RHP Justin Miller has been transferred from Frisco to Round Rock.

Miclat was acquired by the Rangers on December 8, 2011 in a trade with Baltimore, spending parts of the last two seasons with Triple-A Round Rock. The University of Virginia product was batting .252 with 24 RBI and 10 stolen bases at the time of his transfer. In his last game with the Express, Miclat tied his season-high with three hits, ending the night 3-for-5 with a RBI and a run scored in an 11-8 victory over Oklahoma City on July 9.

Miller joined Frisco on May 17 on a Major League rehab assignment recovering from "Tommy John" surgery. He was activated off the disabled list and outrighted to Frisco on June 12. In 16 appearances with the Double-A club this season, the right-hander has compiled a 1-0 record with a 6.19 ERA (16.0ip/11er). He's allowed seven walks and struck out a total of 21 batters. His longest outing of the season was on June 14 at Corpus Christie when he went 2.0 innings giving up two runs on three hits, striking out three. The 26-year-old missed all of last year after undergoing "Tommy John" surgery.

With this move, the Express roster sits at 24 active players with one major league rehab.
