(WINDSOR, ON)- The Windsor Express (12-10) were back at The WFCU Centre to kick off the Welcome Centre for Women's Pink Butterfly Campaign. The Express won their third game in a row, defeating the Orangeville A's (5-13) 97-85.

The Express started off strong with a jumper from Chris Commons. Shaquille Keith's three point play gave the Express a ten point lead with less than two minutes to go, 18-8. The Express finished off the first quarter with a 20-12 lead.

Orangeville began their comeback in the second quarter, erasing Windsor's lead after Bilal Benn hit a three midway through. Kirk Williams Jr hit a buzzer beating three at the end of the half, but Windsor trailed 45-37.

The Express were off to a better start in the second half of the game. Back to back threes from Eric Frederick and Brandon Robinson gave the Express their first lead of the game since the second quarter, 59-56 with over three minutes to go. The Express finished the third with a five point lead, 66-61.

Windsor started off the final quarter of the game with three pointers from Maurice Bolden, and two in a row from Eric Frederick. Chris Commons hit a jumper with three minutes left in the game to give Windsor a 17 point lead, 93-76. Windsor would finish the game with a final score of 97-85.

Kirk Williams Jr led the Express in scoring with 21 points. Shaquille Keith put up 16 points, Eric Frederick came off the bench and added 15 points, and Brandon Robinson had 14 points.

Maurice Bolden added a double double performance with 12 points and 10 boards.

Justin Moss led the A's in scoring with 25 points, a game high. Richard Amardi also had a double double, 16 points and 10 boards.

The Windsor Express are back at The WFCU Centre on Thursday March 3rd against the London Lightning, and on Friday March 4th against the Niagara River Lions. Both games are scheduled for a 7:30pm start.
