Round Rock Express News Release

Sunday night's 3-1 Round Rock Express loss to the Frisco RoughRiders was a familiar one. Round Rock had control of one half of the game, but Frisco had complete control of the other. The RoughRiders' pitching staff had little trouble in shutting down the Express. Outside of Chris Tremie's seventh inning home run and three hits from Michael Rosamond, there was little of not for the Express offense.

D.J. Houlton (4-3) took the loss, although he was fairly effective. He went five innings and gave up only two runs on three hits. However, five walks was his undoing.

Mario Ramos (6-5) got the win after throwing 6.1 shutout innings.

The series will continue Monday at 7 p.m.
