
Explorers Woes Continue with 16-0 Loss to St. Paul

St. Paul, MN- It was not the Explorers night on Monday evening, getting shutout while giving up sixteen runs to St. Paul at CHS Field.
The Saints put up four runs in the first inning and never looked back; plating sixteen runs on eighteen hits, five walks and an error, to get the 16-0 victory over Sioux City at CHS Field.
St. Paul's right-hander Mark Hamburger (11-0) had a phenomenal night on the mound, pitching a complete game shutout while allowing only three hits and no walks.
Explorers starter Bryan Escanio (3-3) had a rough night on the mound, giving up eleven runs in only 4.1 innings pitched.
