Hershey Bears News Release
(Hershey, PA) - The Hershey Bears have partnered with The MeiGray Group to auction off exclusive items from the 2018 Capital BlueCross Outdoor Classic. The auction ends tonight, Wednesday, March 28 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Bids may be placed at the following link: http://meigrayauctions.com/catalog.aspx?auctionid=163
Exclusive items in the auction include the custom painted Outdoor Classic goalie masks worn by Hershey's Pheonix Copley and Vitek Vanecek. Additionally, autographed warm-up worn jerseys from Hockey Hall of Famers Ray Bourque and Eric Lindros, who participated in the Outdoor Classic Alumni Game on Jan. 19, are available to bid on.
Other items include game-issued Outdoor Classic jerseys for current NHL players Christian Djoos and Chandler Stephenson, among other players. Two team-autographed Outdoor Classic jerseys are also available.
The five-minute rule will apply to each lot, meaning if a bid is placed in the final minutes on any jersey or item, the auction for that jersey will extend for five minutes, until no more bids are received. MeiGray is the world's leading source for game-worn hockey jerseys, and also partners with the National Hockey League's Boston Bruins, Columbus Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers, Nashville Predators, New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia Flyers, Vegas Golden Knights, and Washington Capitals. MeiGray also works with the ECHL, USA Hockey, and the National Women's Hockey League.
