
Everett Shuts Down Kamloops

Everett Silvertips News Release
October 27, 2004: Tonight in front of 4,534 Silvertips' fans in the Everett Events Center, Everett shuts out the Kamloops Blazers with a final score of 6-0.
Tonight the Silvertips scored two goals a period, keeping the fans pumped up. In the first, Mark Kress and Jonathan Harty started it off, Harty scoring his first ever Western Hockey League goal. Making his contribution to the tally, Zach Hamill put two between the pipes, one early in the second and one very early in the third. Rounding off the six goals were defenseman Shaun Heshka and rookie Brady Calla.
Making the assists tonight were teammates Torrie Wheat with two, Ryan Blatchford, Mitch Love, Curtis Billsten and Mark Kress. Michael Wall, making an outstanding performance in the net, stopped all 22 Blazer shots. On the power play Everett went 2 for 10.
The Silvertips are back in action tomorrow night in Tri-Cities to face off against their US Division rival, the Americans. Game time is set for 7:05pm.
