Everett Hawks Hold Press Conference

Everett, WA- The Everett Hawks will be holding a press conference on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Everett Events Center. Owner, Sam Adams will introduce Head Coach, Dan "Majic" Maciejczak.

Coach Maciejczak comes to the Everett Hawks from the Billings Outlaws. He spent last season improving the team from a 6-8 record, guiding the team to an 11-3 record and advancing to the conference championship. Prior to coaching the Outlaws, Maciejczak was the Head Coach/General Manager of the Rapid City Red Dogs for two seasons. He began his NIFL career as a player who excelled as a two-time all-star. Prior to his experience with the NIFL he played three seasons between the AFL & IFL. He started for teams such as Iowa Barnstormers, Peoria Pirates, Buffalo Destroyers, and Madison Mad Dogs.

The team has been in preparations for the upcoming Exhibition game on Sunday, March 13th to be held at the Everett Events Center at 1:05 pm. The season regular season home opener will take place on Sunday, April 3rd at 1:05 pm. The team will host the Rome Renegades on Sunday, April 10th at 1:05 pm. The Tri-cities Fever will visit Everett on Thursday, April 21st at 7:05 pm. Friday, May 6th will bring the Lincoln Capitols to the building at 7:05 pm. The Daytona Beach Hawgs fly across the country to play on Friday, May 27th at 7:05 pm. The home games will round out on Friday June 17th versus the Miami Morays and Friday, June 24th against the Billings Outlaws. Both games kickoff at 7:05 pm.

Coach "Majic" will introduce signed players. The team will show the newly produced commercial spot and Hawks Sports for Education video. Photo opportunities will also be available as the Hawks unveil the team uniform.
