
Everblades Post 1-1-1 Week On The Road

Florida Everblades News Release
The Florida Everblades traveled to Charlotte for a pair of games this week. The Blades were pushed to a shootout for the first time this season dropping a 4-3 decision on Wednesday night. Florida came out with guns blazing the next night and scored the most goals in one game this season (7) en route to a convincing 7-0 victory over the Charlotte Checkers. Florida finished the trip in Gwinnett last Friday and dropped a 4-1 decision at the hands of the Gladiators. The Florida Everblades return home for three games versus the Toledo Walleye this week. This is the first visit ever for the Walleye to Germain Arena. The Everblades opened the season on the road against Toledo posting a 1-1-1 record in mid-October. Florida spoiled the first-ever game in Toledo's new arena with a 2-1 victory. The Walleye got revenge with a 5-2 win and a 4-3 overtime victory in back-to-back games to finish off the three in three nights.

RECAP: It took 11 shooters for this game to be decided in which the Checkers prevailed 4-3. Julien Brouillette was the hero notching the team game winning goal as the final shooter in the shootout. The Blades scored on three of eleven shooters, while Charlotte finished four of 11 in the shootout.
Thursday, November 5 @ Charlotte Time Warner Cable Arena 7:00PM
RECAP: The Everblades received two phenomenal efforts by Jacob Micflikier and goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu. Micflikier posted a hat trick and six points, while Beckford-Tsue picked up his first win in net for Florida stopping 28 shots in a 7-0 shutout.
Friday, November 6 @ Gwinnett The Arena at Gwinnett Center 7:35PM
RECAP: Despite scoring the first goal of the game, Florida was stopped by Gwinnett in the first regular season battle between the two clubs. The Gladiators posted a 4-1 victory behind 44 saves from goaltender Danny Taylor, while Brad Schell chipped in three assists in the Gwinnett win.

GAME NOTES: Tonight marks the first-ever game between Florida and the Toledo Walleye at Germain Arena. Toledo is 2-1-0 against the Everblades this season winning the last two outings in Toledo.
Friday, November 13 vs Toledo Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: Jacob Micflikier (1g, 1a) and Rob Hennigar (2a) posted multiple-point efforts in the Everblades lone win against Toledo this season. Defenseman Scott Hotham also added a power play goal in the 2-1 win on October 16 spoiling the grand opening of Toledo's Lucas County Arena.
Saturday, November 14 vs Toledo Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: Jacob Micflikier leads all Florida scorers against Toledo with a goal and four assists. Defenseman Jamie Milam has two goals and four assists to lead Toledo scorers against Florida.

Wednesday night the Toronto Ontario native stopped 35 of 38 shots in regulation and overtime play, plus seven of 11 shooters in the shootout in a 4-3 shootout loss. The next night Beckford-Tseu posted his and the team's first shutout of the season stopping 28 of 28 shots in a 7-0 win.

The Winnipeg Manitoba native broke out with a hat trick and three assists for a six-point effort in the Blades 7-0 victory over Charlotte last Thursday.
